If you’re pregnant and craving a mocktail…you’re definitely not alone! But in all seriousness, mocktails can be enjoyed even when you’re not pregnant. Or can be made into a cocktail by adding a splash of liquor. Keep reading for 4 easy pregnancy mocktails for any season: spring, summer, fall and winter. They’re non alcoholic and perfect for any holiday!
1. Spring Mocktail: Tequila Sunrise
This pregnancy mocktail recipe requires only a few simple ingredients and is cold and refreshing. It’s perfect for Mother’s Day or any spring day!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup pulp free orange juice
- ⅓ cup peach juice
- ⅛ lemon soda
- ⅛ cup grenadine
- Ice
- Optional garnish: orange slices and cherries
Directions:
- Add ice followed by orange juice, peach juice, lemon soda and finally grenadine. I recommend adding them in that order! The grenadine will sink to the bottom of the glass and then rise when you drink it.
- Garnish with cherries and oranges if you like. Enjoy!
2. Summer Mocktail: Strawberry Cucumber Limeade
This is one of my favorite pregnancy mocktails and just what you’re craving on a hot summer day. It involves a few extra steps to make but the fresh strawberries and cucumber slices make it all worth it!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 medium cucumber, sliced
- Ice
- ½ cup liquid sweetener (agave or honey), or more to taste
- Sparkling water or club soda
- Optional garnish: lime wedges, fresh mint and strawberries
Directions:
- Blend the fresh strawberries in a blender until smooth. Pass the puree through a fine sieve and collect strawberry liquid into a medium bowl.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the water, sugar and lime juice until the sugar dissolves.
- Add in the strawberry mixture, cucumbers, ice and liquid sweetener. Top with about a liter of sparkling water or club soda. Mix well and add sweetener to taste.
- Serve with garnishes and enjoy!
3. Fall Mocktail: Sparkling Apple Cider
This easy 5 minute apple mocktail recipe is festive AND non alcoholic. Basically a win win during pregnancy. You can also slice up fruit and leave a few open bottles of sparkling cider on the table for a DIY mocktail “bar”!
Ingredients:
- Sparkling apple cider
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1 grapefruit, thinly sliced
- Large sprig of rosemary, sliced into 1 inch long pieces
Directions:
- Place 1 slice of orange, lime and grapefruit in a glass. Feel free to use just one citrus fruit if that’s easier or swap it for berries.
- Pour cider over fruit. Add a small sprig of rosemary to the drink and enjoy immediately. You can also try fresh mint, rosemary or basil for garnish.

Bonus: Skinny Grapefruit Mojito
Another favorite recipe of mine comes from my dear friend, Jen, at The Happy Now. Her skinny grapefruit mojito recipe is to die for and can easily be made pregnancy friendly by skipping the white rum and adding a little more seltzer.
